What better way to start your morning with a delicious smoothie. I didn’t start including smoothies into my morning diet, until I was looking of a way to include more fruit and veggies into my meal. I also realized that they were not only very delicious but also a nutritious breakfast that gives me energy for the whole day. I have included some of my favorite smoothie recipes in this post. Try them, I promise you won’t regret it!

1.)  Banana, Berry Avocado Smoothie:

This one is my own creation, however I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that makes these. But I feel like I have perfected it (not to toot my own horn).

Ingredients needed for the Smoothie:

·      ½ cups organic frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blue berries)

·      2 Bananas

·      ½ of an avocado

·      2 Tbsp. organic vanilla or plain yoghurt (I prefer organic kefir yoghurt)

·      ½ Cup of organic milk (I use whole milk but you can use water almond or soy milk if you’d like)

2.)    Banana, Mango Smoothie

This smoothie is one of my absolute favorites! Mangoes are some of my favorite fruits, so this is one of my go to smoothies.

Ingredients needed for the smoothie:

·      1 Cup of organic frozen mangoes

·      1 Banana

·      ½ of an avocado

·      2 Tbsp. organic vanilla or plain yoghurt (again I prefer organic kefir yoghurt)

·      ½ cup of Good Belly mango juice (or water)

3.)  The Ultimate Green Smoothie

This post would be nothing if I didn’t include a green smoothie recipe. Green smoothies are all the rage right now, and they have rightfully earned that reputation. Packed with delicious fruit and spinach, they will give you the energy boost you need to start your day right. Here’s my favorite green smoothie recipe.

Ingredients needed for the smoothie:

·      2 cups organic spinach

·      1 cup of organic frozen mangoes

·      1 cup of organic frozen pineapples

·      2 bananas

·      1 cup of Good Belly mango juice (or 2 cups of water if you prefer)

Now that you have seen my go to smoothie recipes, go ahead and try them and let me know in the comments which one is your favorite, or let me know what other smoothie recipes you prefer. I’d love to hear from you!
